Katherine Heigl has opened herself about her experience of being born into an environment that was a "white bubble" and how this realization has affected how she raises her multiracial adopted children. In an interview, actress Katherine Heigl, who plays "Firefly Lane" actress, along with "Grey's Anatomy" actress admitted her looks didn't bother her, however, after talking to her adoptive sister from South Korea about how society had treated them, she was aware of how much different they were. I inquired of Meg whether, while going out with her parents she was treated with a specific manner and when out alone, she was treated with a totally different one. Meg replied "Oh yes! All the all the time!" Heigl told Parents, "That made me realise that I was so naive." She admitted to becoming upset, but she felt that she had to channel that energy in order to assist her adopted daughters. Heigl shares a son of 4 year with Josh Kelley, her husband over the last 13 years. Their child Nancy Leigh was adopted from South Korea by the couple in 2009. Adalaide is an Black 8-year old girl that adopted in the year 2012.
